How To Beat Dry Skin with Derma e

In Florida we don’t have the same kind of fall or winter the rest of the country experiences, which I am quite thankful for, so our skin doesn’t go through the same climate-related problems that you might deal with. However, we still experience changing weather and as many people know, with cold weather comes… dry skin. Yuck. It’s uncomfortable, unattractive, and sometimes itchy.

If you remember a few months ago, I had the opportunity to try several skincare products from derma e™ (here) which I have used daily ever since. Well, this month I got to team up with derma e™ again and test their Hydrating Night Crème and once again, I was not disappointed! A little reminder about the derma e™ brand, and one of the many reasons I enjoy this brand so much, all of their products are natural, 100% vegan, cruelty-free, paraben-free, sulfate-free, mineral oil-free, lanolin-free, gluten free, GMO-free. That’s a very rare statement to be able to make nowadays!

I never really used moisturizer of any kind until about a year ago when I read that you can’t fix wrinkles once they’re there, but you can help prevent them. Now that I’m 25, and I no longer have the skin of a teenager, I figured it’s time to start prepping my skin for the future (or trying at least, I’m slowly creating my regimen). Before I tried derma e™, my skincare brand of choice was Philosophy, while I didn’t care for the high prices, the products were fine and I didn’t have any real negative effects. I always noticed while using Philosophy’s Hope In A Jar Night that my skin would feel kind of oily but I just figured that was how night moisturizers must be. When I started using derma e’s Hydrating Night Crème my skin wasn’t oily at all and it felt refreshed after applying and waking up in the mornings. I realized that this is how moisturizer should be, it shouldn’t leave your skin feeling oily and like there’s a layer of something left on top, it should actually hydrate and soak into your skin and make it look beautiful. Added bonus- it smells nice too, which is hard to find in other brands… It’s the perfect amount of scent, not too overwhelming, but it also doesn’t smell like plastic.

If you still haven’t tried derma e™, I would really recommend trying out some of their products. I currently use the Anti-Wrinkle Vitamin A Glycolic CleanserAnti-Wrinkle Vitamin A Glycolic TonerAnti-Wrinkle Vitamin A Glycolic Scrub, and the Deep Wrinkle Peptide Eye Crème, and now the Hydrating Night Crème, and I actually don’t have one complaint about any of the products. I love the way my skin looks and feels since using Derma e products and I plan on restocking when I run out.

Have you tried derma e™ before? If so, what did you think? If not, what’s your favorite skincare brand?
